Saffery LLP returns as the proud sponsor of one of the Fair’s most loved spectacles—Terrier Racing. With its loud cheers, quick paws and chaotic charm, it’s a firm favourite for visitors and competitors alike.
Held in the Main Ring, this lively event invites small to medium-sized terriers to chase a dummy lure down a short course, with heats, semi-finals and a grand final each day. Prizes are awarded to the top three each day, and a special “Champion of Champions” race takes place after Saturday’s final.
Entries are taken at the Committee Tent from 2.30pm daily, with each dog fitted with a coloured collar for identification. Breeds like Jack Russells, Borders and Scotties are all eligible. Saffery LLP’s continued support ensures the event runs smoothly, bringing joy to dogs, owners and spectators alike.
