One of the highlights of Moy Country Fair is the opportunity to watch talented chefs and food experts bring local ingredients to life. The Food Theatre, located in Row L, offers a programme of live demonstrations throughout both days of the Fair, with sessions beginning from 10.30am.

Organised by Bonk & Co, the Food Theatre celebrates great Scottish produce, practical cooking and the joy of sharing good food. Visitors are welcome to drop in, take a seat and enjoy the demonstrations as part of their day at the Fair.

This year we're delighted to welcome Alexandra Linford from AGA Rangemaster.

With more than ten years' experience with the AGA brand, Alexandra combines a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm and hands-on cooking expertise. Having grown up with a traditional AGA and now cooking on an AGA Mini in her own home, she is passionate about creating fresh, seasonal dishes that are both approachable and delicious.

Alexandra began her career with AGA Rangemaster in product development before moving into training and live cookery demonstrations. Her relaxed and engaging style has helped inspire home cooks across the country, showing just how versatile modern AGA cookers can be while sharing practical tips that anyone can use in their own kitchen.

During her demonstrations, Alexandra will prepare a selection of seasonal recipes featuring quality local ingredients, including Findhorn Venison. Visitors can expect plenty of ideas to take home, from hearty breakfast dishes to light seasonal meals and simple entertaining favourites.

The Food Theatre is just one part of the fantastic food offering at Moy Country Fair. After the demonstrations, explore the Food Hall, where you'll find producers from across Scotland showcasing everything from sweet treats and preserves to cheeses, meats and drinks. Outside, the Highland Food & Drink Trail and other food vendors offer a delicious selection of street food and refreshments, making it easy to enjoy lunch while exploring the showground.

Food lovers, keen home cooks and anyone looking for inspiration will find plenty to enjoy at the Food Theatre. It's a chance to pick up new ideas, meet like-minded people and celebrate some of Scotland's finest food and drink in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Moy Country Fair on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 August 2026.
