Welcome to the Highland Field Sports Fair website. We hope that all of your questions about the fair will be answered on this site.

The fair offers a diversity of entertainments and activities for all of the family, from crèche facilities to archery! The emphasis is on field sports activities with competitions in fly casting, gun dog handling and clay pigeon shooting.  See also, General Information.  

Take your pets for the day and children can enter them into the pets parade or, if you have a terrier, try out the terrier races. Activities in the ring differ from year to year but you may see hawks, owls, horses, pipe bands and much more.  

Tickets for the event will cost £8 per person (adults) children under 16 are free and so is the car parking!

There are an abundance of stalls selling the best of Scottish produce, there could be anything from traditional fare such as Venison to Arbroath Smokies, or you could purchase a Scottish made dog harness or walking stick.

General Information

How to Find Us
The fair is held at Moy Estate which is about 10 miles south of Inverness on the A9 Perth to Inverness road. 

Opening Hours
The fair is open from 10am to 6pm both days.  Tickets are purchased at the gate on the day.

First Aid
A first aid post is manned by the Inverness-shire Branch, British Red Cross Society, located next to the Committee Tent.

Crèche
Crèche facilities are provided by Direct Childcare.  Young children may be left for up to 2 hours free of charge.  Open 10:30 to 5:00pm.

Lost Children
Any children who appear lost will be taken to the Police Patrol.  

Enquiries
Any questions will be answered at the Committee Tent.

Animal Care
A Veterinary Assistant will be on call.  Contact the Committee Tent.  Please remember not to leave your dog in the car.
